Plaque Wording: THE GARDEN OF THE RIGHTEOUS Savona. The Garden of the Righteous is an original space for dialogue and education about personal responsibility that honours the women and men who in every part of the world have helped the victims of genocides, persecutions, and totalitarian regimes. It teaches us to recognize the beauty of the good person and shows that every human being, even exercising the smallest space of freedom, has the possibility to become a bulwark against injustices or crimes against humanity. March 6th is the European Day of the Righteous, which became a civil holiday in Italy in 2017.
